Sunshine Nursery School 3750 West Henderson Road Columbus, Ohio 43220 (614) 457-4085 We are located at the corner of Henderson and Sawmill Roads in the First Alliance Church. A ministry of the First Alliance Church, Sunshine Nursery School opened its doors in 1966 with eight children. Founded by church member Onda Armstrong, enrollment at the school grew to 23 within a month. It has continued growing ever since. Today, the children, ranging in age from 12 months to 10 years (fifth grade), attend the school throughout the year. Originally started as an outreach ministry to the surrounding community, Sunshine Nursery School continues to fulfill that mission of instilling spiritual values in children in a loving and caring Christian environment. The school is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Its Kindergarten program, established in 1987, is chartered by the Ohio Department of Education. Admission is available to all eligible children regardless of race, religion, color, national origin or sex. |
